The food comes off the streets of Delhi. Street food, curries and dishes from the tandoor, with vegetarian and vegan options beside them. In the evening the cocktails carry the same spices as the sauces. The head chef puts the tasting menu together himself.
Randhir Tiwari grew up in Delhi. There the food is cooked at the roadside and eaten standing up: Aloo Tikki Chaat, Chicken Tikka out of the tandoor, Onion Bhajia lifted from hot oil. Those same dishes are on the list in Tammela now.
Delhi House is in the Tammela stadium building. At lunchtime the tables fill with people from the offices nearby, in the evening guests stay longer, and on match days they walk from here straight to the stand. One kitchen does all three.
In the evening the bar joins in. The cocktails carry the same spices as the sauces, and we set the heat of your dish anywhere on a scale of 1 to 10. Book ahead for Friday and Saturday evenings.

One kitchen makes the lunch, the evening à la carte and the menu for a party. Below is what comes to the table, and the room you eat it in. A longer piece explains what authentic Indian street food in Tampere actually is and where the Delhi House dishes come from.
Randhir Tiwari has been cooking for 27 years. The road ran from Delhi to Finland, first to Pietarsaari in 2019 and, since the summer of 2025, to Tampere, in the Tammela stadium building.
He also wrote a book about the journey. The same idea runs through the menu: the dishes come from the streets of Delhi, not from a European idea of Indian food. We set the heat of your dish on a scale of 1 to 10, and at lunch the main course is cooked to order rather than left under a heat lamp.
